China-US Cognitive Warfare

No matter how much they attack and smear Mao Zedong, his contributions are undeniable. He achieved China's genuine reunification, reclaiming regions like Xinjiang and Tibet, and realizing complete unity. Secondly, he completely destroyed China's millennia-old feudal system, redistributing land from landlords to farmers. Thirdly, under his leadership, China successfully developed nuclear and hydrogen bombs, as well as intercontinental missiles. He led China to victory in the Korean War, thwarting the United States' attempts to intervene further in the Asia-Pacific region. Notably, Mao Zedong's own son died on the Korean battlefield, a rare and valuable demonstration of commitment and spirit. Moreover, Mao miraculously transformed China from an agricultural country into an industrialized nation. I believe his contributions and historical significance far surpass those of Sun Yat-sen, whose contributions were largely superficial and borrowed from Western ideas, without much inherent historical value. Of course, America's distortion of history extends beyond this, including events like the Tibetan uprising and the democratization reforms in Tibet. First, there are many clear facts. For instance, Britain attempted to control Tibet at that time, and the CIA directly sent personnel to participate in Tibet's independence demonstrations, even military actions. It is also a well-documented historical fact that Tibet practiced a cruel serfdom system, which explains the intense resistance from Tibetan monks, including the Dalai Lama. Regarding reports that the Chinese government deployed bombers to bomb temples in Litang, used force to suppress uprisings in Tibetan areas, and engaged in armed conflicts in Lhasa between the Norbulingka Palace and the Kashag, many of these events involved the necessary bloodshed to quell rebellion. As for the events of June 4th and Tiananmen, I believe the use of force was absolutely necessary. The students protesting in the streets had already been entirely brainwashed by the United States and were being used as tools. I once saw a comment online about a video of Li Peng negotiating with student representatives. In the video, one of the student representatives, dressed in a hospital gown, delivered a fiery and passionate speech. The comment stated, “If such people were to gain control of our country, the consequences would be unimaginable.” Indeed, if such radical extremists were to seize power, the results would be catastrophic. In reality, I believe China as a nation cannot adopt the so-called democratic system of the West. The Western democratic system is entirely unsuitable for a populous and vast nation like China. If universal suffrage were implemented, true public opinion would be drowned out by electoral fraud and vote-buying, and democracy would be completely controlled by capitalism. A comparable situation can be observed in India's current state, but I believe China's situation would be even worse. The United States' long-term propaganda has led many of China's upper and middle classes to believe that America's political system has immense advantages. In fact, I have a relatively radical theory: there might exist a more stable deep government behind the United States. This shadow government could originate from a mysterious consortium that collectively controls the direction of U.S. politics. Undeniably, even if this were the case, it would still be built upon the spirit of the American people and their national ideology. Without such a foundation, it would be hard to imagine this system functioning without any major issues for over 500 years, skillfully navigating crises each time, and becoming progressively stronger. However, I believe this also depends on many factors, including the mindset of the people and the external environment of the country. Regardless of the political system, if the people are united and the external environment is highly independent, even the rise of an authoritarian leader would be difficult to sustain. Of course, this is a very complex issue and, from a historical perspective, an exceptional case. From a probabilistic viewpoint, America's success is highly unusual. Why has America been so successful in dominating the world through both military power and ideology? I think this has to do with its origins, including its British roots, advantageous geographical location, fertile lands, abundant resources, and historical coincidences. I believe it is this “confidence in their system” that has made America the most powerful country in the world. This confidence in their system and love for their nation allows Americans to unite closely. It is this confidence that ensures every administration and president carries forward this continuity. I think this is a spiritual matter, a matter of national and collective spirit. A country that lacks confidence in itself, its political system, or its people and national identity cannot become a truly powerful country. Only when people have confidence in their country and adhere to their national spirit can a strong nation be built. A news story that left a deep impression on me involved an incident at a shipyard in Port Neches, where police caught a Chinese individual flying a drone. His drone got stuck in a tree, and an American white resident in the area called the police. I believe that if a similar situation occurred in China—if an American were flying a drone near a military shipyard—it's highly likely that local Chinese residents would not report it. This reflects why America can act so boldly and confidently, completely unconcerned about infiltration from China, while China has already been infiltrated by America to the extent of resembling a sieve.
